Dang is the most created locale and business focal point of Rapti Zone. Initially the zonal capital used to be in Dang. Ghorahi and Tulsipur are the principle business centers for entire Rapti zone. Since this locale has two wide, low height Inner Tarai valleys it has preferable transportation and correspondence offices over the four different regions of Rapti Zone (Pyuthan, Salyan, Rolpa and Rukkum).The two internal terai valleys making up the greater part of Dang District are called Dang and Deukhuri. If one somehow managed to travel north from the edge of the Indo-Gangeatic Plain at Nepal's fringe with India, one would first climb step by step through a forested alluvial belt, then more steeply to around 1,000 meters to cross one branch of the Siwalik Range.
Slipping less steeply down the northern side, the farming Deukhuri Valley would be navigated for around ten kilometers, crossing the westbound streaming Rapti River and Nepal's fundamental east-west highway.At the northern edge of Deukhuri valley a moment, somewhat higher branch of the Siwalik Range would be crossed, then Dang Valley would be come to and navigated for 15 or 20 kilometers. Dang is around a hundred meters higher than Deukhuri and is depleted toward the west by the Babai. A few goad streets from the east-west thruway cross the slopes into Dang, which is the more populated and created of the two valleys.Finally from the northern edge of Dang Valley there would be a precarious 1,500 meter move to the peak of theMahabharat Lekh that is the northern fringe of Dang where the slope areas Pyuthan, Rolpa and Sallyan start.
Dang valley is depleted by the Babai River. Like the Rapti, the Babai is obliged by subranges of the Siwaliks to stream west more than 100 km until these reaches give way and permit it to take after the general SE angle of the Gangetic Plain.
When Dang was voted in favor of the best place to live as per the atmosphere.
