The Khaptad National Park is an ensured range in the Far-Western Region, Nepal that was built up in 1984. Extending over the four locale of Bajhang, Bajura, Achham and Doti it covers a territory of 225 km2 (87 sq mi) and ranges in height from 1,400 m (4,600 ft) to 3,300 m (10,800 ft).
History
Khaptad National Park was built up in 1984 on the exhortation of the area's blessed man Khaptad Baba. The eminent Khaptad Baba Ashram, a religious site where Hindu travelers come to love Shiva on the full moon of July–August every year, is situated close to the recreation center central command.
